We have a limited number of cottages in the Hatley St George area available for short term lease.

Situated in this rural village, close to or overlooking the large playing field, the cottages have front and back gardens, of manageable size and for those who like growing their own veg the soil is strong and fertile.

Our village is a small, quiet and family-friendly with cottages of different ages set around a playing field which has a children’s play equipment area and was home to the local cricket club. There is a small village shop and Post Office, a Village Hall and a local Church. There are many Public Rights of Way in the area and therefore great scope for long walks through the immediate countryside, which is well hedged. There is excellent broadband available (Fibre-to-the-Premises).

The cottages all have central heating and are continually being upgraded to reduce their carbon footprint, although it is always a challenge to do that with older buildings. Their Energy Performance Certificates (EPCs) mainly range between D and E presently. The cottages all have oil fired central heating, and are on mains drainage. All the loft spaces are insulated to well above the recommended depth, and all cavity walls are insulated, to reduce heating costs and carbon footprint.
